I would have thought that a smaller reduction would have been more prudent but it looks like we are going all in or nothing, something most smart investors avoid.
I'm betting on history repeating itself. Lower tax rates result in a growing economy and an expanding tax base which means more revenues into government.

I doubt there is much impact.

    Imagine that.
America is now so far in the red that the numbers don't even mean much to the electorate. The fact that much of it paid for chicanery that never benefited the average citizen is lost on the public in general. It has however subsidized banks and other major corporations, which has not translated to the continued employment of American citizens, it has simply capitalized some corporations in the financial sector and rewarded their leadership for reckless and greedy decisions or supported the destruction of other nations to ensure the continued profitability of essentially multinational corporations.

What history is that? Everything that I have read indicates the opposite. Trickle down is a failed theory in general. Cutting taxes on small business and some middle of the road business is useful, but beyond that, it doesn't translate to more employment and thus more remittances in the form of personal taxes. Any tax advtanage enjoyed by corporations with shareholders translates to increased dividends, not more employment. Furthermore tax cuts are fickle and undependable, so a corporation is not likely to go on a hiring spree based on temporal changes to the tax code. Maybe and it's a big maybe, it might result in an increase in bonuses.

Most of the things I buy are from corporations and my shopping for miscellaneous stuff is usually on line, from a huge corporation and it's delivered by my door by another corporation.

Can anyone blame the liberals for wanting to tax corporations into bankruptcy? I suppose they think they government can step in and provide everything we need. Well, everything they think we need.
Your living in the 50s and 60s Patrickt corps today are not those corps then. These new $#@!s employ more chinese, phillipinos and vietnamese and take more money out of the country than back in.

Under Bush the Younger (CBO numbers) The tax cuts spiked tax revenue, and the GOP went on a spending spree like drunken democrats (that last part is not illustrated in the chart):
