Can man ever reach his full potential while being so war like?

I say no. As long as we devote this much time, attention, technology,energy, brain power and money to being this war like and aggressive we cannot "be all that we can be" in any sense , including spiritual.
Will that ever change? Will our fighting ways chase us back to the stone age and another "chance "for the species?

You may have a point, although I think stationary farming had a bigger role . But " conflict" ( such a sanitized term) can definietly get us back there.

We have all kinds of threats today because so many hate us. Yet these things you speak of are getting worse.

So long story threat your response are not that war is a necessary evil , but rather that we cannot progrss without killing so therefore war is good?
I guess I'd set the bar a little higher than that for this discussion. But come to think of it, I don't know why I did that.
