And donttread, of course he should be taken seriously. He's a menace. Don't get on one of your threats to our homeland, soap boxes. We have nearly 30,000 troops in Korea many more supporting personnel. South Korea's capital is very close to the border, there are millions of South Koreans....not to mention.....the missile launches he does, when they do work.......are fired towards Japan. Thus that many more tens of millions of Japanese are affected. We should take him seriously, pressure firstly on China and Russia to solve this issue, it shouldn't be ours to solve alone.
Or we take him too seriously, strike due to his grand standing and he lashes out at China who will, perhaps correctly, blame us. No let China deal with this one. The time to stop them was long ago and nothing's new so don't swallow the media hype. I promise the sun WILL rise tomorrow even if we don't kill anyone!
BTW, why do we still have troops in S Korea? That war ended 60 some odd years ago , right. We can't balance a budget but we have troops in S. Korea who used to contribute to the economy by filling bars and using their women as $#@!s. I want to believe that has changed in the last half of our time there.
Anyway, we can only handle so many occupations at once . Want a new one? Drop an old one might be a good rule to live by.

Yes, they have nuclear weapons. They haven't figured out how to miniaturize them so they could be put on an ICBM. So ICBM tech is our key to attack once they get close to it. Unless something else works to stop them first.

If I remember correctly, we are technically still at war with them, but this is one hell of a long cease fire.

Trump wants to be a War President.

His followers often claim to be America-first nationalists, but they get really global when it comes to North Korea.

Another expensive, unnecessary war, more debt, more deaths. Republicans, again.

Obviously NK doesn't have ICBM capability, but no one really knows whether they have miniaturized one to the point it could be mounted on an ICBM.

You are not using the terms nationalism and globalism correctly.

You might as well replace them with the words red and blue - it wouldn't help or hinder your sentence as written.

That is why ICBM tech is the red line. We don't have eyes on their miniaturization program.

Some people believe globalism is only about spreading influence abroad and nationalism is nothing more than isolationism.
