    Conservatives Crucified Christ

I put this here because the guy in the video has the rant. He approaches the cameraman/reporter. He says he is independent and then proceeds to bash conservatives and uphold liberals.

You really must see it. He is all over the place. He bashes conservatives relentllessly. They hate everyone. They are lunatics he says. The liberals are good loving people that do nothing to hurt their fellowman. He loves the taliban. But he doesn't love conservatives. And he doesn't see his hypocrisy.

the reporter should have asked him if he loved conservatives.

I think at the end he realized he'd pooped in his mess kit.

People who try to place Jesus in modern politics are insane.

Jesus didn't give a crap about politics. He only came here to save our immortal souls.

I think if you read sources outside of the redacted New Testament , you will find that Jesus was immersed in party politics .
Jesus was a rebel who split from the Eastern early Christians on fundamental grounds and was prepared later to work with the Zealots to rule on a consensus basis .

I have seen several of those sources. I was considering Jesus as God on earth. Not Jesus as only a man.

Here I thought Christians followed Jesus, not the other way around.

Right. How could Jesus split from a group that didn't exist?
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Because he's Jesus. Cary here is acknowledging that Christianity has it right. Jesus can do the impossible. Just tack that on to the bigger list.
    Being born from a "virgin"
    Turning water into wine.
    Turning bread into fish.
    Walking on water.
Split from a religion that wasn't founded yet.

What sources might these be? Specifically.

    My question as well.
I have Flavius Josephus' "Antiquities of the Jews" right in front of me and he mentions nothing of Jesus' political leanings.
    What other sources are there?
The fundamental difference between conservatives and liberals is simple.
Conservatives, like our founders, understand that man has a propensity to do evil. They accept this fact of human nature and have given us the tools to protect ourselves from those who might victimize us.
Liberals believe that under the right mandates, restrictions and incentives all that potential evil can be bred out of humanity.
