I still buy DVDs of my favorite movies, as well as DVD sets of my favorite t.v. shows, and my kids think I'm insane. They say that everything will - if it isn't already - eventually be available through Netflix, Amazon or Hulu or some other similar service. My son hooked the big screen in my living room up to services I'd never even heard of. At this point, I'm pretty easy to impress with things like that.

i loved the series!!! Being a former locomotive engineer and railroad buff, I loved the overall authenticity of the story line. Like some here, I was totally caught off guard when central figures were killed. Plus, Anson Mount as Cullen Bohannon is pretty easy on the eyes.

I plan on buying the series when it eventually comes out.

Yea the authenticity .. it really throws you into the mid 1800's extremely well.

Sketchy as $#@! ! also very, very dirty as would be expected.
