EPA Extremists Not Sanguine About Obama Re-election...

...so they are rushing to promulgate regulations into effect before December.

These regs will essentially kill coal as a source of energy in America.

Note that the EPA pulled a similar stunt in 2000 after Gore got beaten.

"But if Romney wins, regulators will have a very narrow window to enact a select few costly regulations that would then be very hard for a President Romney to undo."

Why would it be "very hard" to undo. I think people are fed up with both a King and his courtiers doing as they please. All things considered, I think it would be very hard for a President Romney to not cancel those lame duck attempts to destroy the economy and damage America on the way out.

Listen up. Obama has set up the Republicans and anyone else who tries - a tough row to hoe to dismantle the things he's done; things we know of and (surprise) all the things we don't yet know of. It will not be easy to tackle the pitfalls that have been quietly put in place.

Nonsense. If it's that tough, we're voting for the wrong guy. The hardest, by far, will the Obamacare and that's doable. Rules passed by non-elected bureaucrats will not be difficult. MSNBC, CBS, ABS, Reuters, AP, NYT, Los Angeles Times, and the others will whine and $#@!. Screw them. I think people are fed up with the liberal agenda, the lies, the divisiveness, and the fraud.

If the dems retain control of the Senate, it will be very tough. Two words: Harry. Reid.

Even if the GOP wins a working majority in the senate, will the GOP Senate majority have the cojones to pass new Senate rules that omit the filibuster? If not they may as well go on vacation, because harry will filibuster everything.

BTW, for those of you who are ignorant of such facts, the filibuster is not something mandated by the Constitution. It is a Senate rule that dates back to antebellum times. It was used to protect slavery and later Jim Crow. The Senate can, by a simple majority vote, adopt whatever rules it likes. The first day of the session will be crucial.

However if the GOP wins a majority in the Senate, Congress can override any regulation, either directly or by repealing the statute upon which the regs are based.
