Married his high school sweetheart. Never arrested. Never used drugs. Never humiliated his spouse with side women stories. No outside babies. Never in the news with so much as a parking ticket. Excellent father. Heavily involved with his kid's activities. Greatest player on the PLANET.

Now -- 14 years later. Same dude. Same maturity. Same woman. Same family. Reputation intact. Now earning close to $2 million per week.

Im not a basketball fan, but I do know Lebron James is top notch. I didnt know everything in this thread about him but hes obviously a genuine Roll Model to follow. Hats off to him, he deserves heaps of praise for whats hes overcome and accomplished

I can even understand the miami in thing in retrospect, too. You and I both felt the need to escape our hometowns once, too.
LeBron didn't do college. But like bethere and Dave, LeBron came home after 4 years away.
