Hello, my name is tres borrachos but no, I didn't name myself after three drunks, and I'm not drunk myself (as far as you know, anyway). Tres Borrachos is actually a retired gelding racehorse who ran in the California circuit a few years ago. I'm a horse racing junkie (Thoroughbreds only, flats not trotters) and his name always appealed to me.

I'm the mother of 3 teenaged sons, married to a former semi-pro hockey player. I love politics. I'm a lifelong Republican who didn't vote for Trump in November (no I didn't vote for Hillary either - voted for Johnson) and am pretty unhappy with the way everything has gone/is going.

Thanks for letting me join and I hope to be able to participate as often as I can.

I saw you had enough, I finally did so also. Good to see you here, the site can use a levelheaded conservative that knows how to carry on a civil discussion, but also give as good as she takes.
This site gives a little more leeway, within reason, and the Mods are good.

It wasn't as "free" as their license plates suggest. Maine is a far more free state, I really wanted to be there.
