Due to a home plumbing mishap, I had to vote earlier in the day than I'd planned. I ran out in the early afternoon to get my planned B-12 and flu shots, then went ahead and hit the polls on the way home (good thing I did, because the plumber came at 3 pm, and he just left at 6 pm). My polling place was more crowded, with lines out the door, than it's EVER been. And the panther-ish goons that were hanging around the entrance in 2008 were conspicuously missing this time. I felt good about voting, but I am still not confident about the outcome. Hubby is at the polls right now; and they close at 7:30. I'm sooooo glad it's all over but the shouting, truth be told. I need a drink (or 3); to hell with my diabetes.

That was fast. Zip zip.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

I drove passed my polling place this morning before 0630hrs and the parking lot was overflowing. So I left work a bit early and got there- only had a 15 minute wait.
