Disaster in California! Need your help!

I am embarrassed to ask anyone for help! But, I have no choice now.

We had record breaking rains this winter in Cal. And my mobile home roof leaked and has caused a lot of damage; mold, wet carpets, ceilings caving in, etc. I am 71 years old, and living
on a Govt. check of only $ 915/mo. And now the building inspector has come out and run me up for all kinds of silly violations!I also have unpaid medical bills!Mediscare does,nt pay everything!

I am on gofundme.com asking for donations. Anything would help. PM me and I will forward the info to you. I can send you pics of the damage if you want.

I hope I have some friends on here, and compassionate conservatives are welcome!

They say they don't insure old roofs! Well, is it an old roof if it was put in yesterday?

Call them again. Be firm with them. They often deny claims on the first few calls.

YES! as has happened with health insurers as well. You may want legal representation if your policy included such coverage as have occurred. Go get em!

They don't insure the damage to your roof if it is in bad shape, but they do generally cover resultant damage. They may have mold exclusions. If you didn't contact them immediately after the leakage and it resulted in mold, they will refuse to remediate. They should cover any ceilings that collapsed from water incursion.
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

I filed a claim in October as soon as the leakage occured! If the roof was one day old, they would say it was too old! Tree limbs also hit the roof, and they denied that even! The $#@!S!
