    Yes, there are those concerns. Government should be spelled corruption. I would rather see business and industry join together to do it but everyone is too dependent on the government. The article only talks about the types of job, doesn't really go into detail about how it would be implemented.

    I'm ok with that approach but when gubmint decides it's their role to find or provide jobs then hit the brakes.

    Sounded to me like job creation. A step up from Keynesian make work as the jobs would fill areas where there's shortages.

    That was a question I had. Could the government force people to work? That just doesn't sound good. OTOH, they could say, you're able to work, jobs are guaranteed, no more welfare.
