I am supposed to go to D.C. I found this. Any recommendations?

When I visited DC, I went to Old Ebbitt Grill. Place is awesome. Pretty sure I had the Wellstreet oysters with a bloody Mary which was basically heaven for me. Would definitely recommend.

Im surprised Rustermans isnt on that list, Its been near 30 yrs the last time so it may be a foregone issue since I was there.
They had pictures of most every president in the restaurant and numerous photos of senators and congressman and other hot shots.

It was fundamentally a steak house

All of those are good. The last one, only for the raw bar. And the bar.

Where are you going to be staying- I can pinpoint something for you. Also what do you like?

I enjoyed DC far more than I thought I would.

I didn't do much fine dining though...had a great burger near the WH though. Can't remember the name of the place. Something like the Burger Tap...

20 years ago we had burgers at this pricey place called the Hamburger Hamlet in DC.

If you see a used diaper in one of the fake potted plants there sorry.

DC has numerous attractions to keep a family busy. I loved bringing my kids there.
