Post You do have it: The Right to be an A$$hole.

YOU DO HAVE IT: The Right to be an A$$hole. To be sure, I think Spencer is a world class, syphilitic drip. I find his views repugnant. There’s very little that sets me off and evokes a nearly violent visceral reaction than racism and prejudice, and he represents someone/something I hate.HOWEVER... Do we start accosting anyone with whose views we disagree? Do we assault them? Do we demand that they be kicked out of venues, even if they have paid their membership dues, because we find their views abhorrent? It is the most repugnant of speech that is the most worthy of protection. https://thelibertyzone.us/2017/05/26...be-an-$#@!/

So when it suits some Americans, the odious media does have its uses.
That should place some of the right in a quandary.

Spencer isn't the problem. The problem is the hard left using Spencer to attack legitimate people and organizations. They bank on the American people not understanding how language is being misused.

You can't see through personal likes / dislikes for principals! You cannot "disgaree with what I say but defend my right to say it" . Not in todays neocon/ ultra lib good isn't good enough , bad isn't bad enough insane battle.
What are you a throw back to the time when people had convictions?

Yup, he had the right to be an $#@!.

What you are overlooking is that other people have the right to be an $#@!s right back at him. He wants to espouse hate and prejudice, she can preach hate and prejudice against him. If that costs him his gym membership well remember that that gym is a private business, and if they don't wanna do business with hate filled bigots they don't have to, just like the type t-shirt guy didn't have to print the shirts he didn't agree to.

If you exercise your rights to push a racist, misogynistic agenda people have just as much right to use theirs to push back.

Seems like Spencer wanted a safe space, seems like people who agree with him want a safe space also. Snowflakes.

Didn't I say that it was the most repugnant of speech that is the most deserving of protection? If I did, how did I overlook anything?

Whole board is being overrun with overwrought conservative snowflakes.

Look at the reaction any time someone speaks badly of their Great Trumpkin. Most of them don't even try to refute, they remind us of how they "won" (even though they don't seem happy about it) or accuse us of "sitting the bed". And have you noticed how loud the cries of "witch hunt" are getting as the investigation gets closer and closer to Trump?

They all are looking for their "safe space", the poor little snowflakes.
