The biggest reason is a large demographic shift in America. The concept of federalism and limited federal government are no longer desirable by the majority. The American experiment is over. We have returned to our European roots.

Well Xoti, if you're not working then it won't matter if illegals are given citizenship and jobs. You're right. The empire is crumbling, and this is the downside of having an empire. We just had to nation-build. We had to gain more power and grow and spread our american influences across the world. This was all so very important. Our young nation wasn't satisfied with what it had created, so it had to grab more land and power. The more it grabbed, the more it wanted. On and on it went, until it is at the point it now is. And we know what motivates this... We know who is motivated to make this happen. We know from history what happens to all empires, and yet America couldn't resist.
