I don't know about anyone else but I grew up under the threat of nuclear war with ominous clocks showing minutes to complete annihilation. I'm sick to death of it. No one and I mean no one, has the right to put this planet at risk, particularly over political BS. People have a right to believe that there will be a tomorrow free of political juggernauts engaged in a pissing contest that can have fatal consequences for the entire planet. It's the most arrogant madness possible.

Actually, if Pakistan and India, deployed 100 nuclear devices between them, it would destroy half of the ozone layer and nuclear winter would devastate agriculture worldwide. Once the debris in the upper layers of the atmosphere cleared, parts of the world would become uninhabitable because of the solar radiation.

Do you know how many nuclear explosions have already occurred? What yields are the 100 weapons that concern you? What are their targets? Why do you believe any of this to be true?

In other words, they keep demanding something that will never happen and is likely to result in the entire world being destroyed.

Gotta feed the war machine at all cost. Remember what Einstein ( I believe it was him) said when asked how WW 3 would be fought?
"I don't know, but WW 4 will be fought with sticks and stones." The war machine will destroy itself one way or another, at least for a time, but humanity will live on. In pockets perhaps. Without our modern technology certainly. Without lock step governments and without megacorps, again at least for a time. But a 1% survival rate would equal more than enough for a stable breeding population.
