Goodness me. Maryland passes gay marriage legislation.

Will there be no end to your misery?
Come sit down beside me I said to myself
And although it doesn't make sense
I held my own hand as a small sign of trust
And together I sat on the fence

Why don't you move there then.

Yum. The Pugs are playing with themselves. Nothing like a bunch of clowns trying to eviscerate one another.

Nothing like a few rogue elephants in the tent.

O'Reilly and other wailers on the right bleat endlessly about how the Hispanics done them in.

Fact is the "white is might" constituency favours the Pugs by only a 20% margin. That was true in 2008 and again in 2012. Too little to fend off the avalanche of minority voting for the left.

The Pugs have a structural problem that has as much to do with white voters, especially women and youth, as with other groups.

Not forgetting, too, that many of the crusty old white evangelists who could still rouse a vote in 2012 will have gone to meet their Flying Spaghetti Monster by 2016.

I want a party that is focused on economics, fiscal conservative principles, and federalism. I am not much concerned with the rest right now. Any change the Democrats will offer me a home?

Do "fiscal conservative principles" involve balancing revenue with expenditure from those able to pay? Or just expenditure with folly?

How on earth do you confuse fiscal conservatism with unfiscal liberalism/socialism?
