OK, so does history repeat itself?
Yes it does.
OK, so if history repeats itself then can we argue that the same cause lead to the fall of Rome and Greece?
Yes we can.
OK, so is Rome the only great society that repeated history OR can we say that all great societies repeated the same cultural evolution that all other great societies (before and after) went through?
We are going through the same evolution as rome and greece, nuff said.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Post #59:That's command theory ethics. So you've replaced god with state, same thing. Problem is, who are the moral "angels" "standing behind people, sometimes close, sometimes far, to keep them honest when they need it"? Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?...BS...there are very few people that have the resolve to make the right choice every time...very few...and then we need to argue "what is the right choice?"...you need someone standing behind people, sometimes close, sometimes far, to keep them honest when they need it...
Confession time...Only reason I even thought that he made too much of an effort in WI was because Dana Perino was going on about it on FN...and I was kind of just lusting after her without even really questioning what she way saying. I'm an uninformed voter ....but I don't think I'm the only guy with this problem I thought maybe the Walker deal gave Romney hope too. Anyway, I believe what you're saying.
Wisconsin has been going red a lot, it's an easy mistake. We did keep a Rep majority in the Assembly, which I'm excited about. Also we went back to a Rep majority in the state Senate. Hopefully we'll see more budget cuts before 2014. My guess is that Walker will be weak then, as long as the Dems don't fudge it up too much.
