Yeah what's with that? Obama looked weak. I was basing my analysis on the fact that he apparently wasn't.

A few things...I think Romney messed around with states he didn't have realistic shots at, like PA & WI. Maybe that's hindsight, but those states have pretty blue histories IMO...he should have hammered FL and OH, and gotten more of a ground team in those states if he could have. Another thing, he didn't take any risks after the debates, he just kind of coasted...if the election had been right after the first debate then I think he'd have won but seems to me like he just coasted to the finish line. Bill O'Reilly made some good points on Fox too, about how Sandy and Obama's partnering with Christie pushed Romney's name out of the media during a critical time.

I think ol Billy has a point about the media. And you're probably right too, it seemed like Romney did do a lot of coasting. Not sure what sort of bold thing he could've said or done to grab people's attention. He's not a very bold guy, from what I've seen.

I don't think he spent too much time or effort in Wisconsin though. Almost all the ads I've been seeing were for Obama. It seems like at first he thought there was a chance at winning Wisconsin, but he gave in to reality towards the end there.

Apparently he needed to spend more time in Virginia too. That one's gotta hurt.

    And the GOOD news is:

1.NO Romney/Ryan thus, NO appointment of any Supreme Court Justice who will overturn Roe vs. Wade.
2.NO Todd Akin/Religious fanatic Conservative good ol boy coalition to criminalize abortion, and change the definition of rape.

Women can breath a sigh of relief. At least until 2014, when the Looney rightwingers will try again.

    - Colorado and Washington legalize pot

    - Maryland becomes the first state to legalize same sex marriage via ballot-- and it looks like the same goes for Washington, too soon to call for Minnesota.

    - South Dakota voted down a sales tax increase

    - Massachusetts legalized marijuana for medical uses

None of this is going to fix the fiscal cliff we are approaching or makes it more likely that we'll ever return to a Constitutionally limited government, but they are a few small victories, for me at least.
With pot we can all go over the cliff with a smile on our faces. ;-)

...come on, there are those on our side that think being "civilized" is a good thing...and what's the epitome of "civilization"?...Rome and Greece and both of them were OK with pedophilia...

No society has ever been OK with pedophilia. Greek pederasty involved pubescent boys or older teens.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.
