    Id have to go check who actaully played longer that is a factor, plus to get playoff points you have to be in the playoffs thats a team achievement.

    Im not taking anything away from Lebron but Mike Jordan still sticks in my mind as the top shelf

    James is a great player, but he's not surpassing Michael Jordan as the greatest. Jordan never lost an NBA finals. If he wasn't the finals MVP, most people considered that an upset in itself.

    I'd argue that LeBron got teams into the finals that jordan wouldn't be able to, especially the 07 Cavs team. I don't think you can hold it against someone who is completely outgunned, like LeBron was in 07 and this year.

    Personally I wouldn't put either Jordan or James as the greatest. Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul Jabbar are arguably greater players. There are several more. They played under a set of rules the players today couldn't handle.
