BlackLivesMatter Professor Says Fox News Is To Blame For Her Speech Cancellations

A Princeton professor and author of “From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation,” said in a statement Wednesday that she has canceled her upcoming public appearances after receiving threats in reaction to inflammatory comments about President Donald Trump.
The assistant professor of African American Studies, Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor, canceled her talks at Seattle’s Town Hall and the University of California-San Diego shortly after giving a commencement speech at Hampshire College in which she called Trump a “racist and sexist megalomaniac.”
Fox News posted a video about her speech a week after the event with the headline Princeton professor goes on anti-POTUS tirade.
Taylor said she has since received more than 50 threatening emails and claimed that, “shortly after the Fox story and video were published, my work email was inundated with vile and violent statements.”
She stated that Fox ran the story to “incite and unleash the mob-like mentality of its fringe audience,” according to the Associated Press.
