We are screwed in the next election as well.

In four years, when Hillary or Michelle O (don't put it past them) runs for president, all they will have to do is put a marijuana legalizing bill on the ballot in a given battleground state. That will attract enough Dem votes to put their candidate over the top. Bought and paid for.

I'm sorry, I have to argue with this post.
Freedom to consume marijuana as you please is something our forefathers would support, they are the ones who smoked opium and dreamed of FREEDOM. Your freedom is the result of people who smoked opium. I know that's hard to grasp, but this is why I supported Ron Paul. Absolute freedom is what America is all about.

Why are you against me having the right to smoke this bag of pot as I please? I bought it. I paid for it.

That's beside the point. I don't care about marijuana, only that it is a proven conduit to get people to the polls. "Gas Grass or Ass, Nobody Rides For Free"

I think so too. However. I am looking forward to sitting back and saying 'I told you so'. I won't do anything to help or hinder. I think Obama should be given free rein and reign.

Homosexual marriage will come in hard and fast. That's okay though. I won't associate with them and i won't allow my kids to either. Bring in illegals. I won't be hiring them. I'm scaling back starting today. There are a lot of things i can do without that are provided by democrat supporters. And I MAY be able to find some gov't handouts that i can qualify for. We are all entitled now.

That is nothing. Demographics are against the GOP. We will have a majority who don't believe in liberty, federalism, limited federal government, or the Constitution by the next election. The American experiment is over for now.

That's exactly right. It took me some time to realize that Cigar's bragging about how his "new demographic" was taking over is correct. What is ironic is how, for people of his age, the old saw of "be careful what you ask for you may get it" is so, so true. Because what he doesn't realize in his cocoon of quasi-government employment is that the new demographic doesn't have the ability to create the wealth they are living off of and rapidly depleting. Hence, their guaranteed future is social and fiscal decline leading to collapse.

The new demographic can't carry themselves, let alone sustain the wealth and power that my generation and older created in America. The American experiment was based first and foremost on self reliance and economic freedom and the former is regarded as some sort of quaint idea by them and the latter has been foreclosed by overwhelming government that is now consuming in excess of 40 percent of the declining national wealth, and over 50 percent when you count in the reckless borrowing.

Right. All we can do is sit back and watch it all crash. And let Cigar and his ilk suffer.

And I hate to state the obvious reality, but the great preponderance of the wealth in America was not created by minorities or women. It was created by us hated white males and we're beginning to say the heck with it.

People like you Cigar who work half time and get paid time do not create big wealth. You feed off of it. Until it is gone.

Get used to decline you new demographic folks, because you really don't have the work ethic or the intelligence as a group to create that which has allowed you the luxury of your constant race and class baiting, attacks on the productive, destruction of economic freedom and glorification of grossly incompetent government. You've been largely along for the ride and the ride is winding down.

Nothing personal here, just history repeating itself. America had a great run for a while and at some point, another place will rise and hopefully learn some lessons from us.
