Boehner ready to hike our taxes....bend over

    Omg....

Boehner Would Accept New Revenue Under ‘Right Conditions’

U.S. House Speaker John Boehner said Republicans would be willing to accept new tax revenue to reduce the nation’s budget deficit if it’s accompanied by a tax overhaul and changes to entitlement programs. Speaking in Washington a day after President Barack Obama’s re-election, Boehner of Ohio said all sides are “closer than many think” to being able to revise the tax code.

“Shoring up entitlements and reforming the tax code -- closing special interest loopholes and deductions, and moving to a fairer, simpler system -- will bring jobs home and result in a stronger, healthier economy,” the speaker said, according to a prepared text.

“Mr. President, this is your moment,” Boehner said, according to the text.
Traitor....all they'll do is spend it and want more. Waste our money. Take it all til we have nothing left and then print more. Spending is King.

Harry Reid just said "they (republicans) need to understand, they're not gonna push us around." Arrogant asshole.

Get ready for the next rating downgrade. This is not good.
Meanwhile, no hiring in our future. It's hunker down time. Franks and beans - the new normal.

Boehner may be Speaker now, but that does not mean he will be come next term. Quite a few people are tired of his ways.

The only way to control a deficit and massive debt issue is by a) reducing spending and b) paying the debt off.

Unless conservatives are adopting the liberal "well, we'll just use money grown on trees" concept of fiscal responsibility, then his proposal makes logical sense.

What will be overlooked is - who's spending will be cut and who's will bear the fair brunt of the taxpayer share, because I can virtually guarantee that that tax burden will not fall on the shoulders of the wealthy because both republicans and democrats are bought-and-paid-for by the rich cronies.

...and the richest people in congress are democrats. We will see congress grant themselves a pay raise very soon.

Obama and the dems were gonna stick it to the middle class anyway. Now Boehner is gonna help them. How? He'll get spending cuts promised by the dems in exchange for tax hikes. The tax hikes will take effect and the spending cuts will never come. Same ploy as in the past, many times. Won't they ever learn???

    Won't we ever wise up?

Nothing is gonna change and we're all gonna get poorer.
