that would be nice to think it could happen but really, do we think we can win this if it is a concerted US/UN effort to remove guns from our possession. They don't have to go door to door. All they gotta do is to aim the laser. and our new masters the piogs at the trough will help them. Maybe they would opt for the bombs that take out neighborhoods and leave the structure standing.

I do agree that the GOP needs to reach out to Asian and Hispanic voters. I think both groups have a lot of common ground with th GOP/Tea Party.

Actually the GOP does well with Indians and Filipinos. Gov. Jindal is Indian.

GW Bush was always quite sympatico with Hispanics. In 2000 and 2004 he garnered more tha 42% of the Hispanic vote.

Asians are egregiously discriminated against by Affirmative Action - a strongly Democratic issue. Most Asians have strong families and hold rather conservative social views.

Hispanics are quite motivated to assimilate and have a long record of doing so given half a chance. Like the Asians they have conservative social views. Hispanics have been embraced by th Baptists and are converting wholesale. No reason the GOP can't bring them around.

In both cases, its just a matter of trying.

I am fearful that you are correct here.

Although Dick Morris was wrong about the Tuesday election, he is not wrong about everything. And he has been predicting this for several months now.
