    2012 Was a Romans 1 Election

So many people are asking what Republicans could have done different to win the election. Was Mitt Romney the right person to run against Barack Obama? Should Romney have been more aggressive in his attacks of Obama’s record and character? To be honest, I don’t know of any Republican that could have won the election!

Why? Because God gave us the leader we deserve as a nation for turning away from His ways for unnatural ways. I truly believe that the 2012 election was a Romans 1 election. Read what Scripture says in verses 18-31:

yes, it describes us precisely. And now even more so because one of the first things and it's already started is the acceptance of practices abhorrent to God. 11 Timothy 3 also.

God loves us, but that doesn't mean he doesn't teach us lessons and this is going to be an unpleasant lesson. I also find it hard to believe that those who voted this into power will repent and turn to God. I could very well be terribly wrong since i don't know God's mind other than He wants all to repent and return to Him. Let's don't forget that Israel and Judah were both conquered and taken into captivity. I pray that will not happen to us but i am concerned.

Doesn't the Bible say somewhere that the good will suffer with the wicked?

...I will say this, there will never be another white religious conservative Republican nominee to make it into the white house again!!!...never (well in our time)...the only religious candidate that can even hope for support is a dbag like Biden...heck, not even Ryan can make it past the stigma attached with rightwing religion...mark it down on your calendar that I said this here first...

I hate that you're probably right. Whatever happened to just voting for the best person for the job? When did religion, race, gender, background, marital status, etc. etc. etc. become so all-important?

I am going to disagree based on faith. I have faith that America will rebound and rebound soon. There is but one way for this to happen IMP...congress must agree with each and every demand and request made by the Left, then tell the media they have do so in the spirit of hands-across-the-isle. When everything starts to fail, then the media will have all that information and will realize they helped back a communist.

...paranoia...people are afraid of loosing something due to religious constraints...I like religion, I like the structure it gives, but too many people don't like being told you can't marry someone of the same sex, can't have an abortion, etc, etc, etc...BREAK THE CHAINS BROTHER!!!!!!!...
