Of course, we all know that not all NY and NJ voters went Obama. Romney got his share of votes. The people in this disaster zone will experience many regrets. Bureaucracy will piss everyone off, and that would be the case no matter who won. At least Obama won't expect these people to simply pull themselves up by their "bootstraps" without federal help.

Yep, I noticed both of those articles and was not shocked in the least. I think many felt the business community would just accept the threats of tax increases and the cost associated with Obamacare. Not so. I also heard that railroads have been laying off workers in coal country. Cause and affect.

Don't worry about "taxmageddon", Trinnity. For the last two days, Republican House Speaker Boehner has been knee-walking to Obama, wanting to make deals and compromise. He's already said, "Hey, let's kick the can down the road, exactly as-is, for another year!" But Obama, feeling all piss-proud about how well his little socialist empire did in the elections probably will force the tax boosts on small businesses and all the "rich" who make >$250K/yr. My guess is that Boehner will shed a tear, kiss his ass, and do what RINO's always do -- go along to get along.

Whatever else happens, you can definitely look for this: more and more workers (a LOT more) are going to be shoved down to "part-time" status. This will employ more people, in terms of tonnage, and the employers will start looking for other ways to escape the certain rape of Obamacare.

My prediction? Many small businesses will be wiped out or simply go away in the next two years! The survivors will be those that made sure they don't have a full-time headcount equal to, or greater than, 50 employees....
    Onward, to 2020!

If America is to be saved, it needs to ignore you. That is for sure. Freedom, not Statism is the answer.
