Women Prosper when Markets Are Free

By free they mean able to make decisions for oneself as opposed to having the government make decisions for one, especially economic decisions.

By equality they mean equality in income, education, political and corporate power.

Women Prosper when Markets Are Free

International Women's Day was founded by the American Socialist Party in 1909 and usually ends up celebrating women in government, politics, and statism, but let's look at something else. Cross-referencing data from the Fraser Institute, which looks at general economic freedom, and World Bank in the United Nations, which looks at gender disparity, we see that countries that are more economically free also have more gender equality.

But could this simply be due to "rich country effect," the idea that a wealthy country merely has more money to pay its women workers? Of course, there are particular examples to support both theories, but on average, globally, it's true that more economic freedom means more gender equality.

Another big money foundation used to avoid taxes and support the rich. Egads how many of these organizations exist? The communists should have taken a page from the Koch brothers and others on how to control the minds of the people. For the reader see page 50 of Dark Money by Jane Mayer. So many of these 501 tax BS organizations started from people in the John Birch society.

The free market is what governments try to manage.

    The data are comparative.

Saying that free market is pure fantasy is not amazing. Is a fact.

The free market is simply that much of the social order that emerges from the exchange of goods and services. It's been around since man has existed. Attempts to manage it mismanage it.

Ok, so here's the thing, Socialism (and I mean fulfilled socialism, not to be mistaken for State Capitalism, which merely has the state operating businesses as would a capitalism) actually leads to more freedom than capitalist "free markets" because it places the economic power in the hands of the people, instead of a tiny minority. Choices are opened up to the people at large that they would never have a say in. Should we increase or decrease production? Should we outsource jobs overseas (spoiler: people won't vote their own jobs away)? Should we get new machines? Should we get a pay raise (assuming the society hasn't done away with money altogether). So now so many more people have a real say in the functioning of the economy, instead only having a say over the microscopic sliver they are given at payday.
