The Alex Jones interview

I watched her show tonight since It came on right after Nightly; I found it to be reasonable with objective reporting. Megan called Jones and his organization out on some issues and when presented with the facts before him, he appeared to be wiping his forehead as if he was confused and most answers he could not give direct response to the questions. I think that Jones' credibility took a major hit tonight, although his hardened listeners/viewers will stick by him regardless. All in all, I thought it was a good segment.

Her other show segments were likewise interesting, particularly the New Zealand story and the medical marijuana business growing in California. I much prefer news programs that have a few different topics so it's not all based on one story or theme, so it was a pleasant surprise.

I didn't get a chance to watch her premier show and heard a lot of bad things about it; if that was the case, then the producers really cleaned (or adjusted it as those of us in the trade call it) up the show. I'll definitely watch it again.

This thread got me curious, yes Jones is a screwball but his site INFO WARS seems as credible as any other media these day's. At a cursory glance.

That was my point I was making on my other comment - the "relevant" one. As you point out, Info Wars could be viewed as credible to those who don't follow news regularly or are just getting into following news. It's important to have opposing viewpoints fact check each other.

Jones had dealt in some absurdity and "fake news" to create interest and make a point, but not nearly to the degree that CNN and the others in MSM have.

Jones is just a Limbaugh redux. Unknown if he too is a drug addict.

You just showed what a complete hack you you are Jim. I watched the interview and the two are comparable in the least. Nice job throwing your credibility out the door!

After watching the interview Jones is a flake IMO. I also think Kelly blew the interview. I think they got cold feet and bailed on a great opportunity. Why is the guy a flake? The way he answered the Sandyhook questions. He had a big bag of nothing, dodged big time because he knows he lied for ratings.

The guy should have not went on the show. I say that not because Kelly would try and make him look bad, but because it was impossible to not look like a flake to the masses. On the other hand, the kitchen got hot and Kelly whiffed the interview. Played scared and ran. This was her way of promoting her show, that wasn't doing well, by stirring the pot.

It was mostly a waste of time. I would rather of seen the interview go for 30 minutes and got into some nuts and bolts. Then maybe it got interesting. Instead we got nothing.

The guy is smart and is only making money. He has exposed a niche and I don't believe he believes everything he says. But he knows his audience.

Jones is in it for the money plain and simple. He pisses off some people but I am surprised they even listen to him.

These goofs are basically putting Jones over and giving him a platform. They have no idea what they're doing, the people who rule over us are generally talent-less idiots.
