If you can define a socialist as a conservative, that was Hitler. His socialism was an end to achieve a means. He was a right leaning socialist, which today is a contradiction in terms. By most metrics he was a conservative leader. Other than nationalizing industry to finance the war effort and rallying the German population around race, Hitler actually hated socialism. He had no interest whatsoever in the concept of a class struggle. The Germans were socialist leaning and Hitler used that inclination to his advantage.

Hitler was not a socialist. He thought socialism was a Jewish ideal and he tossed actual socialists in concentration camps.
