The moderation team is going to begin a stricter enforcement concerning off-topic posting by more quickly issuing thread bans. Additional action may result from continual off-topic posting, which can be considered a pattern of trolling. This includes all forms of comments that do not relate to the topic, and often aim to disrupt discussion. Obviously, there will be some divergence from any topic as a natural progression, but the clearly off-topic and inane posts that contribute nothing to a topic will be more strictly moderated, and more quickly.
If a topic does not interest you for discussion, please find another topic or create a topic rather than making off-topic posts.
