What's going on here is the man owns a farm 20 miles outsde city limits that he rents out for weddings, just not gay weddings, which is legal because the state has no anti-discrimination law regarding gays.
The issue is that because of the farm the city has decided he can't be a meber of the farmer's market because of his discrimination.
Now I don't think personally he should discriminate, but that's his business.
Also, the market is member-driven, not public: http://mifma.org/farmers-markets/eas...mers-market-2/, But I don't think that matters.
If it's city funded/operated then they are within their rights. If not then they should have no say.

Not surprised you don't understand. Freedom from progressive big is better government
the left champions. You interpret that as not having government or using limited government as constitutionally designed because it doesn't square with the belief that bigger and more authoritarian is better. You may not believe bigger is more authoritarian but that would be due to an inability to see beyond a narrow and uneducated view of our history.
“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

I'm going to go off topic a bit here, this is a 'Reason' OP and Reason is a libertarian free market site so then my question would be in a free market world would not everyone have access to the market and the market place, including the farmer's facilities? Things get pretty jumbled up when freedom only pertains to specific places. I think both should be open and he can complain to St. Peter should he arrive at his gate. Hopefully St Pete is open minded?
