You know how when you were a kid and some bullies would work you over for your lunch money? Initially you had the power to buy yourself some lunch. After that work-over, you had no power to purchase your food. So you lost your power. You didn't give it away You didn't want it taken. But it was gone just the same. And the bullies who took your money had that much more purchasing power for themselves. Initially, these "bullies" were just the same as the rest of us only they became "entrepreneurial" and started their own business (collecting lunch money, that is). The business grew as they worked over more and more kids. The bigger it became the more power it had, and the more control it accumulated. Of course, not all businesses are created by bullies. But the most successful ones will usually have one real dirt-ball scumbag at the helm. These are the businesses that, through lobbyists and purchasing congressional members, oversee and quietly manage the legislation processes and control our government. The government collects our taxes, which is then used in whatever way they wish. (The ever-growing MIC is a good example).

Not all businesses reach the same plateau, of course. But the few that finally made it to the very highest plateau -- the ones that own and control these megacorps are the select ones that enjoy the fruits of international game-playing (World Bank and the IMF). And boy do they have fun... Ok. That's your story for this evening. Night-night, now.

Cain may have been a better candidate than Romney, but apparently Romney had the money to move them all out of the picture. I mean, c'mon. Who the hell makes an on-air-national debate $10,000 bet with another potential nominee? Right there is when it should have become apparent that Romney's enormous wealth might be a problem in the long run. Let's face it; it's done him more harm than good as far as his campaign went.

You can't buy your way in. He would have gotten donations to help him but he was a strong man and people could relate to him coming from a poor family. No, Mitt his wealth did hurt him. Cain was well respected in the south.

Cain's biggest asset it seems was that he was black and considering all of the post-election buzz about demographics, that may have been a better strong point.

But I wonder if Cain ran and lost in similar fashion, would that post-election discussion have turned from demographics to "conservatism is dead" - because Cain was far, far more "conservative" than Romney.

His race had nothing to do with this man. The man had a heart for all people. I don't know which side railroaded him but he would have been a good President.

    Voting demography disagrees with you.

Again, how in an civilized world did those bullies attain such power to be able to coerce people as you describe?

You must certainly know such power can only come from government, the state which has simply legalized coercive bullying.

Our influence on other countries is regulated by the "players". If they want the USA to show some muscle in the ME, they'll make it so. We are not the country we are told to think we are.
The US has ceased being a nation in the proper sense. It is now a jumble of disparate peoples held together by bribes. It's your fault too.
