You know how when you were a kid and some bullies would work you over for your lunch money? Initially you had the power to buy yourself some lunch. After that work-over, you had no power to purchase your food. So you lost your power. You didn't give it away You didn't want it taken. But it was gone just the same. And the bullies who took your money had that much more purchasing power for themselves. Initially, these "bullies" were just the same as the rest of us only they became "entrepreneurial" and started their own business (collecting lunch money, that is). The business grew as they worked over more and more kids. The bigger it became the more power it had, and the more control it accumulated. Of course, not all businesses are created by bullies. But the most successful ones will usually have one real dirt-ball scumbag at the helm. These are the businesses that, through lobbyists and purchasing congressional members, oversee and quietly manage the legislation processes and control our government. The government collects our taxes, which is then used in whatever way they wish. (The ever-growing MIC is a good example).

Not all businesses reach the same plateau, of course. But the few that finally made it to the very highest plateau -- the ones that own and control these megacorps are the select ones that enjoy the fruits of international game-playing (World Bank and the IMF). And boy do they have fun... Ok. That's your story for this evening. Night-night, now.
