Republicans only have to look at their base turn out for why they lost the election..

Looking at the numbers its not that there is a new demographic as Obama had 8 million fewer votes from him than in 2008 but 3.5 Million Republicans didn't vote over not liking Romney. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012...2008-and-2004/

See turn out numbers here: http://www.kypost.com/dpps/news/nati...n-2008_7991483

Republicans need to work on getting their base out. Don't get distracted on winning 2% more here or 3% more there. If they had turned out their base they would have won the popular vote by a million votes. Early numbers show they would have pulled away Virgina, CO, FL, and Ohio.

    Rrepublicans won Independents heavily.

I think the shenanigans that went on behind the scenes all over was the cause. I'm still not convinced Romney lost...go ahead and laugh but I do remember 2000 and the hanging chad crap...20 foot high murals of Obama IN a polling place, polling managers with Obama gear on, polling managers showing people where they can vote a straight democrat ticket and on and on and on. No, you can't convince me this was a completely legally won election. Romney is too nice of a guy. he should have demanded a recount using the military as the people doing the recount, just for accuracy you know.

3 million fewer GOP did not vote but they didn't vote for Obama who got 8 million less votes then he did in 2008. Both sides had people stay home not happy. GOP has a turn out problem and so dose the DNC.

It is a dangers trend to see votes down so far from 2008 and 2006. We don't want a time where less than 50% of Americans pick who the next president is. I would like to see that number going up not down.
