Cool No, You are NOT getting your country back. America is moving forward with/without You

That’s the message voters sent the Republican Party and its Tea Party wing Tuesday night when they re-elected President Obama and strengthened the Democrats’ control of the Senate.

No amount of outside money or voter suppression or fear mongering or lying — and there was a ton of each — was enough to blunt that message.

President Obama and his formidable campaign machine out-performed the Republicans, holding together a winning coalition that is the face of America’s tomorrow: young voters, urban voters, racially and ethnically diverse voters and women voters.

According to exit polls, Obama won 60 percent of the 18 to 29 year old vote and 52 percent of the 30-40 vote. He won 69 percent of the vote in big cities and 58 percent of the vote in mid-sized cities. He won 93 percent of the black vote and more than 70 percent of both the Asian vote and the Hispanic vote. He won over half of the female vote. And he won 76 percent of the gay, lesbian and bisexual vote.

Nope, its yours. Trillion dollar deficits, record food stamp usage, rising poverty, artificially jacked up energy costs (boy is that one going to bite you in the butt, Chicago guy), bloated overpaid government, the certainty that SS and Medicare will repay you far, far less than what you're putting into it if you see anything at all.

At the end of your four more years, you'll have that 20 trillion dollar debt too. Really, it's all yours sucker. Enjoy it.

It's kind of funny that we talk about "getting our country back" or that "we're moving our country forward" or that "we Americans want ...", when the real fact is that you, me and your neighbor's dog have had nothing to do or say about where our country is going for a long long time. We're no different than any other game piece on the board. We're larger, sure, but the USA is just a piece just the same. The people/international entities that pull the strings don't work for anyone's interests but their own. If the US happens to profit from their latest move, that's nice, but that's just a happenstance, is all.

Every 4 years we have our nice divisive elections and we think that our candidate will make things all better. Be he doesn't make the calls, and he knows it and so does the VP. Our influence on other countries is regulated by the "players". If they want the USA to show some muscle in the ME, they'll make it so. We are not the country we are told to think we are.

certainly not with this presidebt. We need another Reagan with backbone. But the traitorous left wing media sees their way to destroying anyone who could put this country back on the right track.

Agree. But let's ask, again, who gave "The people/international entities that pull the strings" such power? As you say it was not you or me or the other guy. So who gave the power that was once ours away?

So, we'll put you down in the "I Just Don't Get The Big Picture" column, then. Ok?

or you can just blame it on 'everyone' which you think makes you look like such a thinker.

Even Fast train Cain could have done better and most of the south if not all would have went with him. I would have even campaigned for him and never have with any other. We didn't have a Reagan. Cain did like Perot, let the media kill him with false accusations. They were after him from the start knowing he has been thew chemo, anyone knows they can't remember everything. The woman most likely were paid just like the others or wanting a spot light. They didn't like him because he was a threat.

"You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink." The country was offered a refreshing glass of cool water and chose instead a hot chocolate guaranteed to burn your tongue and give you acid indigestion. Don't ask us for an Alka-Seltzer!

It was upsetting to see them make fun of Cain. The mans had cancer in three places and they laughed at him because he couldn't remember where he was or what happened during segregation years. I barely remember some. Small towns didn't get anything crazy. If I remember correctly we had four people picketing and none of us knew who they were.
