    8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

    9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

    The problem is that Planned Parenthood supports the genocide of innocent and unborn babies.
    Anyone who thinks that's O.K. needs to have their head examined.

    She's right though:

    “Back in the olden days,” she said, “the Republican Party was the party that supported people’s individual rights and keeping government out of personal health care decisions, so I think there’s a history they can go back to.”
    Abortion is a states issue. The Republican party will be more successful if they embrace that narrative.

    I thought the Magic Supreme Court found a right to have an abortion in the Constitution and made it a national issue.

    Abortion is not about one person's right to do something. Jeffrey Dahlmer had a right to decide what he would fix for dinner until what he fixed for dinner was his dinner guest.

    A lot of these issues should NOT be overseen by the fed. They're state issues and we need to get back to that.
    Liberals, you want your pot legalized? Well you got it in Colorado (and Washington?) but the fed says no. Is that how you want it??? State by state rights over these issues is in everyone's best interest and that's something the GOP should be running on in the midterms and in 2016.

    And there ya go.

    Are you still under the impression that the U.S. is still a nation of laws and not of men? Abortion, drugs, firearms, right to property, prohibition on being subjected to double jeopardy, and the right to have honest elections are all at the discretion of President Obama. Neither states nor individual Americans have any rights.

    The Federal Government rules all and President Obama rules the Federal Government.

    I didn't say it would be easy to get back to the Constitution, but we have to try. When liberals get pot legalized in individual states and the feds are raising hell, they'll get the message.

    You're not paying attention. and i think you misdirect intentionally. the dems don't want it to be states rights. They want it fed and they also want it paid for by taxpayer money.

    I'm not going to change my view. It's wrong, it's ill conceived, and it is against God and nature. Now you do as you please. IF the repubs join PP, they won't have me. You've won, you're welcome to it. I'm not going to play your game.

    No, I think you misdirect intentionally. Politics is about what ought to be as well as what is. Based on the Constitution of the United States, the Federal government does not have the authority to legislate regarding abortion. That's true regardless of what the Dems want it to be. I'm not playing a game. I think the republican party should embrace old conservative values likes states rights, anti federalism, strict construction and otherwise.

    I found a quote in the link you provided that actually illuminated the fact that the Republican party once was like this, so how is that an intentional misdirection?

    They still are individual rights. But killing the unborn is not gonna be part of it. NOR is Obama's post abortion infanticide. except for you and your like minded citizens.
