How many businesses have announced closings or lay-offs since obama won a second term

Let me be the first to say to our progressive friends "I TOLD YOU SO!".

Do elections have consequences? If you have been paying attention to the financial markets, you might think so. Wall Street has had two horrible days since President Obama won a second term.
However, stock prices are not the only thing taking a hit. It appears that the job market is also suffering. In the last 48 hours, the following major corporations have announced layoffs in America (each is linked to the news release with details):

And, you can click on the link to see the rather extensive list.

    Enjoy.

They can lay-off as many people as they want, it's a free market America and it's their business to do what they please.

But it ain't going to change the FACT, that Barack Hussein Obama is now, and will always be from this day forward, the two (2) Term 44th President of The United States of America ... and no amount of childish tantrums will change that!

Thank you Republican Party for energizing the Democratic Party

Hey Cig, do you know what happens to government contractors when the inevitable budget cuts come? They get thrown under the bus.

Been there, done that. Learned to prepare for it. Have you?

I guess if you're stupid enough to have that as 100% of your Business, you should be worried.

Cig, they can find plenty of Chinese to write code a whole lot cheaper than you.

They aren't doing it because they want to do it. They're doing it because they NEED to do it. Because the American people voted for big daddy sugar to give them everything they want, now they will have thousands more sucking at the teat.
Expect that to rise to millions more by the end of next year.
