You want higher taxes on the rich, you say? What do you offer to sweeten the pot? How about elimination of obsolete New Deal and Great Society programs? You want a jobs program you say? How about throttling the regulation machine at the EPA?

You can get compromise if you offer real compromise. Give something to get something. Otherwise, pound sand.
They have put welfare up for cuts. Now you must put your precious tax cuts up.

You're right it is in poor taste and for that I apologize. But I just built a new computer and like an idiot I forgot to import my bookmarks so I forgot to add this site while Im still setting things up.

Are cons still throwing their childish tantrums? Don't worry your beloved rich will only be taxed 3% higher. And be forced to provide insurance

    BHut it wan't .
You don't win by a literal landslide in today's desperate two party attempts to win the middle classes .
You win by strategy to extend small differences into big ones . In the swing states you were ripped to shreds .
Republicans also use the wrong media sources . They deluded themselves into believing reports and polls which were wrong . This invites the obvious question . Why?

They don't have access to computer in mental hospitals in the U.S. I assume from Carygrunt's postings they do in England.

Or simply cash out and take the money elsewhere. Interesting news report to that effect this morning.

Hard to find it with all the voter fraud reports from PA and FL, though.

It's OK, you "won" now it's your economy. He who laughs last, laughs best. You can fraud and demagogue your way into office but you can't force the private economy to make you look good.

Well, in the election the dead people speak, some people speak repeatedly and others only once, some foreign nationals speak, and there's a lot if dead air as stuffed ballot boxes and lost ballots speak loudly. And, the military being disenfranchised don't get to speak much at all.

But, since we, for now, still have free speech those of us who aren't busy leaning forward and bending over for President Obama can still speak. Get used to it, Montoya.

Let us know how you intend to keep them from spending any new money they are given.

You do understand that the ObamaDeficits are so large that the entire discretionary budget could be zeroed out and still not cover them?

You do understand that the ObamaDeficits are so large you could confiscate all the wealth above one million in America and not cover them?

You do understand that you could give Obama and the rest of you class warriors exactly what you want and the revenues would at best amount to 10 percent of the ObamaDeficit?

Or do you understand budget economics at all?

BTW, just in case you missed that like you missed all of the above that has been discussed and documented ad nauseum here, I favor giving Obama his soak the rich taxes for the simple reason that very shortly thereafter, everyone would see what a piddling amount compared to ObamaDeficits it would raise.

So they're not my precious tax cuts at all.

These fools never learn. MD imposes a millionaires tax and collects less the following year. With their tails between their legs they quietly let it expire but the damage is done, the money has left town. The rich are a great deal smarter than the government idiots. There are untold places to stash wealth and better countries to make it in now.

Give them what they want. Give them everything they want and then give them their John Galt moment. That is the solution to Barry and his supporters. Give them all the rope they need to hang themselves and then pick up the pieces.
