The uber wealthy could care less if you raise their taxes a bit...they won't stand for 20 or 50%. They'll take their money and place it elsewhere and there will be nothing you can do to stop them. There is a fiscal cliff. Any economics major knows that, but if you never went to college you wouldn't know that now would you. You may believe all the left-wing rhetoric you want to, but maybe reading the Wall Street Journal at least once in your life might just give you a smidgen of knowledge in economics.

The problem we currently face is Wall Street, because the investors do not trust Obama and without investors, companies do not grow or even be started. You like to work and earn a living...then pay attention to economics dearie and stop drinking all the Kool-Aid!

Taxes on the wealthy won't be enough. The bulk of the money is in the middle class and that's where taxes will (and are already, by stealth) be raised. As usual, you're a clueless wonder.

The U.S. isn't headed off the fiscal cliff or any other make-believe economic chasms, at least not anytime soon. Congress set this time bomb in motion and it will disarm it before it explodes.

I am not going to be baited into being your economics professor. Try going to college and learn something on your own instead of demanding someone do your work for you...oh sorry, I forgot, you are a progressive which is why you are so lazy and want me to do that. Oh I can, but I'd rather you advance yourself just a bit so you can become a productive member of society instead of a leech.

Wow, you're right. Taxes on the wealthy are going up. So are taxes on everyone else. No matter what you do, taxes will go up on everyone else who pays taxes. It's written into Obamacare and more will be written before Christmas. And, spending is going up even more than taxes no matter what you do, Truthdoesn'tmatter.

So, now consider, when taxes go up and spending goes up, what happens?

The "fiscal cliff" is not a cliff. It is spending less than projected. Not one penny in cuts.
