    Here's my theory and i'm sure I can use some other ideas seeing as i JUST found out about this...i've been unhooked from the world all afternoon. He was going to have to testify about what happened in Benghazi. The Obadministration told him they had the goods on him over and above the affair...did petrAEUS admit the affair or was that leaked? He resigns in a bit of disgrace but not what he would have? If he testifies, the rest will come out.
