They could save 300 billion a year by cutting Bush's additional spending on the military (plus the unfunded costs of the various wars he started - say 2 trillion) and another trillion over 10 years by cutting Bush's expenditure on tax cuts to the wealthy. Then there's Bush's totally unnecessary subsidies to his oil mates and all the rest and the taxes he forgave to offshore operators. Just to mention a few.
Would those 6 or so trillion, plus no doubt several trillion more in addictive Bush spending, help at all?
