    OK, let's cut all that. Still doesn't solve the problem, in part because Obama is more of the same, outspending Bush.

    You don't know that. Those figures are based on static accounting models. What if a tax increase during a weak economy, causes a crash. You very well could take in much less in taxes. (And spend a lot more on unemployment).
