Come sit down beside me I said to myself
And although it doesn't make sense
I held my own hand as a small sign of trust
And together I sat on the fence

When you fall off the fiscal cliff, who will you blame for your broken neck?
The doctor who pronounces you dead?

It appears that you think that Bush spent too much money. Obama spent more in 3 years than Bush spent in 8. And Obama will likely bring the US official debt to $20T before he is done. A criminal offense....
You libs deserve currency collapse. Maybe that will teach you a lesson.
Yeah, that's what Forbes, not a notable Obama supporter says, seen through a blurry Republican lens, ain't it?
.

It’s enough to make even the most ardent Obama cynic scratch his head in confusion.Amidst all the cries of Barack Obama being the most prolific big government spender the nation has ever suffered, Marketwatch is reporting that our president has actually been tighter with a buck than any United States president since Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Who knew?
So, how have the Republicans managed to persuade Americans to buy into the whole “Obama as big spender” narrative?
It might have something to do with the first year of the Obama presidency where the federal budget increased a whopping 17.9% —going from $2.98 trillion to $3.52 trillion. I’ll bet you think that this is the result of the Obama sponsored stimulus plan that is so frequently vilified by the conservatives…but you would be wrong.
The first year of any incoming president term is saddled—for better or for worse—with the budget set by the president whom immediately precedes the new occupant of the White House. Indeed, not only was the 2009 budget the property of George W. Bush—and passed by the 2008 Congress—it was in effect four months before Barack Obama took the oath of office.

Awryly, to post that misleading chart again when you know. from here http://www.visualeconomics.com/wp-co...PENDING-R2.png, the more accurate picture from government sources is below, is disingenuous on your part.
Peter is exactly right: "It appears that you think that Bush spent too much money. Obama spent more in 3 years than Bush spent in 8. And Obama will likely bring the US official debt to $20T before he is done. A criminal offense.... "

No, because they'll never curtail spending of function within the limits of the Constitution. And they won't deal with entitlements. The more taxes they raise, they more they'll keep spending.
Listen up, dummies:
Raising taxes is NOT to reduce the debt. It's to spend MORE.

I thought the point of the chart I posted (again below) was that annual spending increase has already been slowing even though the economy has taken its biggest hit since the 1930s?
And that other spending, including tax exemptions, credits, etc (which are really spending by another name), military spending and so on, is on the table to be reduced?
