I only have a couple bars within 50miles that show the fights and even then I usually end up spending more on alcohol/food/taxi ride than if I had just bought the PPV. I'm an alcoholic though so your mileage may vary.
Kinda partial to copious amounts of beer myself. I don't often go in bars, but thanks for the tip, I am going to check it out!

Pure hype .... it's working. My wife and her friends want to watch this fight and they never give a $#@! about boxing or mma.
Not nearly as confident as you on that statement. Conor has a huge ego.

And there is the potential for Mayweather to humiliate him badly in round after round.

We'll just have to wait and see.

    Absolutely agree.

As will Mayweather overwhelm McGregor under the venue/rules of boxing.

MMA and boxing are completely different sports. This event is riding solely on the element of novelty. Hopefully there will not be any staging or scripting within the course of the fight. (that would be immensely difficult to disguise.)

Mayweather was already challenged to a UFC bout, he would be totally stupid to do that. Hes never trained for that type of fight or the way they are fought.

    I choose mayweather to win

I have no interest in this. Different disciplines, restrictive rules... this is as ridiculous as when Ali fought Inoki. It is not even an original idea. It is just a way to make a buck.

Of course, but it would be a PR victory for MacGregor. Everyone knows Floyd can't even compete in Conor's arena.

Of course this is a flimflam to make millions, its the classic great white hope going against the black undefeated

They just couldnt find a white boxer that would generate the excitement McGreggor has
