I wouldn't. Our current leadership is taking us further and further to the left. That's not the direction we should be going.

What leadership are you talking about? The R's control the entire government yet they don't seem to be able to govern. Add to that Trumps blame game for the failure of the ACA overhaul and what you see is a total lack of leadership, especially on his part. This was classic Trump where he wants to take credit for things he had no hand in, but won't take responsibility for things when they go bad.
One can be sure that he who says he knows knows nothing

Where you see a lack of leadership, I see leadership going in the wrong direction.

Seriously since the Tea Party who has been able to govern? That said you can thank Obama for the Tea Party. His lack of inclusion lead to their rise on his watch. Had we worked together on something they had passed it would have resulted in a different outcome. Lots of blame to spread around.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Putin is in charge. It's time the deplorables acknowledged it.

I can't disagree with that. There is plenty of blame to go around.

My question is, Why are the people that contribute the least or nothing to our society or country ( paying taxes).. Seem to control everything. The people that do the least seems to have the ear of our elected officials. Why is that? You can always tell by their vote on something who they expect to re elect them. If the middle class taxpayers, blue collar worker would get into the pockets of the government by stopping commerce for a week, I'm sure things would change. The working people then would have a louder voice. Aren't you tired of every tom, dick, and harry mionary dictating policy in this country. Just because one baby cries because their feelings were hurt we have to change everything to accommodate them. The world is laughing at us. OK LIBS tear me apart even if you know i'm right.

Who is in charge? The megacorps and super rich. It's supposed to be the people but as a group we don't know enough to do the job.
