I'm just happy Michael Ontkean is straight, but admittedly, that was the funniest scene in the whole movie. Great movie, too.

Fantastic, completely fantastic in Twin Peaks, too.

Yea, still miss her. She had the rare combination of looks and skills. Too bad she also had a weed habit that ended up consuming her to the point she couldn't get off the damn couch.

Many insecure spouses react violently when something small happens like wedding ring being misplaced. There are probably some shelters nearby or ones I can link you to, there is no reason any man should fear "being killed" because of a lost wedding ring. His husband perhaps needs help, spousal abuse isn't a joke, one of the sinister secrets kept by many. Perhaps your friend needs help, not his ring back?

At that moment, I kind of realized that us gay and straight people aren't that different. I could not even imagine saying to his husband, "Ok, we got college drunk, totally disregarded your life long commitment and lost the wedding ring."
That was the moment....you realized.....even if different tastes in sexual activity.......people aren't that different? Wow......stunning f'n find huh? Shocking. gay and straight people....aren't that different when you thought they were!!!!!! Well........break out the f'n koolaid, let's have a party! How long has it been now that you thought gay and straight people were 'different', Lee?

Who else has a scary wedding ring story? (gay or straight)
Hopefully, no one's spouse threatened to "kill them". Atrocious.

    Glad it turned out OK.
I'm glad it didn't lead to violence. The man actually told his spouse he's kill him if he lost the ring?

F'n unstable and scary, do you know this man, perhaps the authorities should be called. Give me his name, I'll f'n turn him in right now, there is no reason to threaten violence in that scenario. Has this man shown violent tendencies before? Has he beaten this man before....be honest. Many times, I've heard the spouse remains in denial. Men who hurt their spouses aren't sane especially over a ring. What a loon that man must be.

Real real sorry. Gay and straight people aren't different. Thus, if a female spouse confesses her husband will absolutely "kill her" should her ring be misplaced, many would call that a macho control freak....who is exhibiting anger issues and thus could easily get violent. Why should this be different. I think Lee's friend should be reported to the authorities. That is controlling behavior, this spouse's obvious fear of being killed insinuates this could get violent.

At least inform the abuse shelters in the area, please, for this young man's sake.

Sometimes the expression "my husband (or wife) will kill me" doesn't imply violence, but an unpleasant tongue lashing and something that will ever more be held over your head.

Maybe, remember, I have done 7 years in prison, a spat between gay men, can be VERY violent!

Perhaps, but that may be why they are in jail to begin with.

Not to say, free gay men are not (potentially) violent!
