I paint and draw. I like a nice canvas or medium that won't look like crap in 20 years. I also prefer my art to be hung on walls. Furthermore, tats tend to inhibit your employability unless they are confined to areas where "the sun don't shine".

Depends what job! I am currently doing a Mural on my friends house (very well paid) Airbrush and oilbased and latex paints.I paint and draw. Oh nooooooo...... I don't want to be trashy! I've always thought about getting a tattoo but was always nervous about it because I didn't want to be stereotyped. If I do get a tattoo I've already decided it will be in a place that my work clothes will cover. People would probably have a heart attack if they saw me walk in with a tattoo. lol

If you are only getting one, seek out the best artist you can find, some of the very best charge 200$ an hour and have a waiting list years long.
