Well, if that's what you think.. I just disagree.

We have interventions, intel operations and training going on in a dozen African countries.. We don't want to repeat this screw up again.

Did Broadwell’s Husband Write to the Times About Her Affair with Petraeus?

Blake Hounshell, the managing editor of Foreign Policy, shared a link on Twitter about an hour ago, and prefaced it with a wonderfully understated description: “Interesting letter,” he wrote. Those who clicked on the link found a July installment of “The Ethicist,” the longstandingNew York Times Magazine column taken over a little while back by Chuck Klosterman. The second letter in this particular installment was titled “My Wife’s Lover,” and it begins with what, under the circumstances, are some pretty striking opening lines.

My wife is having an affair with a government executive,” it begins. “His role is to manage a project whose progress is seen worldwide as a demonstration of American leadership. (This might seem hyperbolic, but it is not an exaggeration.)” The letter writer goes on to explain that “exposing the affair will create a major distraction that would adversely impact the success of an important effort,” and to ask whether it is OK for him to “suffer in silence for the next year or two for a project” he believes “must succeed,” or whether he is obligated to acknowledge it in some way and “finally force closure.”

    Did you read the response?

    Childish adults IMO.

Here's a whole new whacky set of accusations.

Look at the exit polls. Did you see this issue there?

    No.

You can blame the pollsters and press for that. I'm sure it was never an option given to the exit voters.

And furthermore, it's not being covered by the MSM like it has been on Fox. Practically no one even knows about this.

I was a Republican for over 35 years.. I just think the GOP is completely out of touch. I hope they come to their senses before 2016.

Yeah, Fox talked about this. The question was framed would you trust this person to handle a foreign crisis well. Both Obama and Romney got high marks...there was no mention of Benghazi specifically.

I think Americans are mostly concerned with jobs and the economy, but that doesn't mean they don't care about Benghazi.

Benghazi was a screw up waiting to happen because of cuts to the embassy security budget over the past 8 years. I think Hillary looks angry and sad because she said months ago that the cuts would impact the ability of the Statae Dept to do their job.

My 32 year old daughter asked her very liberal boyfriend what he thought of Benghazi and his response was "who's that?" She said, never mind.
