that's funny. I wasn't even thinking about money.

My real question is where will all of the carpetbaggers who have fled the north already assign their allegiance. Will they flee back to Detroit or stay in Alabama, Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, Georgia? And the businesses who have located in the South where they can hire workers, pay less taxes, have fewer regulations, and less corruption move back to Chicago. Oh, darn I just snorted my coffee out my nose at the thought of someone moving back to Chicago.

    LoL

Really? so what "liberty, and freedom" has been trampled?
You don't get to vote for the party that supported, and legislated government forced vaginal probes, and then claim to oppose Obama because he represents "increased government control, and power".

Republicans didn't lose it on their rhetoric. They lost it due to the media/dems rhetoric that republicans are greedy and mean. And we lost it because democrats have a significant voting class that wants santabama to give them their presents early and everyday. That's why conservatives lost. And now many conservatives are deciding they don't want to play by those rules. So. See how long the democrats are going to be able to satisfy their very large, touchy, violent, uneducated constituency

It would be shorter to ask which freedoms and liberties haven't been trampled.

I know I shouldn't be amazed that you are so incredibly self-centered that you believe my reference to socialist just had to be you. Oh, no, I realize that wanting income redistribution, total government control over business, and all power located in Washington doesn't make someone a socialist. Oh, hell, they can be a communist or a statist or a Tinkerbelle Fairy. The government of the U.S. is socialist and the current president is moving it to the left as fast as he can go.

So, take your fake outrage and stuff it. Try answering one of the questions instead of pretending outrage because you think you've been called, gasp, a socialist. Of course, people such as yourself and your hero in the White House are big on the concepts of "you people" and "my people".

So, you actually think the megalomaniac in the White House, who thinks of himself as President Lincoln, won't start a war to keep his 57 states intact?

What do you think the carpetbaggers will do? Leave their homes and flee north. Actually, some southern meth freaks might head north to keep the "entitlements" flowing. I doubt the free states will continue bogus SSI dependence. But, the yankees that have bought homes in the sunbelt. What will they do?

And the businesses who have moved their headquarters to Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, and other cities in the South. What will they do? Will they move back to Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut?

No...no, actually, I thnik most of those can go; with the exception of new York, and I would dispute that New York, Colorado, or Florida will will go with you. You might wanna check that electoral map. I mean you'll get the land; after all, it is south of the Mason/Dixon. But, I think most of the Floridians will leave. But, when the separation happens, I guess we'll see who goes with whom.

Well...that's because we're not socialists, but I just didn't see the point in trying to explain the difference to the terminally stupid.
Oh, but you are--do you even know what the word means, it's not an epithet. And the ad hom is unimpressively not an argument.

The list I gave you are those who want to secede. The link was presented earlier, just in case you missed it, here: ]15 States including Texas have filed a petition to secede from the United States.

Like I said, you've confused this with the war of northern aggression. Historisits tent to confuse the past with the present.

Liberty and Freedom? How about freedom of religion? I'm an atheist but I still find the attack on religion irritating. How about the prohibition on double jeopardy? Remember the cops in the Rodney King case. There was a time where you could be tried for a crime only once. How about property rights? The eminent domain decision saying the government "use" could be no more than another property owner will pay more taxes and there is the ever popular, with the government, civil seizures. How about equal protections under the law? Racial discrimination makes a joke of equal protection as does, in my opinion, the gay marriage issue. How about the right to a fair trial and a president, a trained lawyer no less, who announces publicly that an accused man will be found guilty and will get the harshest penalty possible? He really does think he's a king.

And how about all the muttering about the Constitution not being the law of the land but being a "living document" that means whatever the liberals want it to mean. Have you actually found abortion in the Constitution? What does that do for the rights of the unborn babies or even some babies born and smothered, a practice President Obama voted to keep legal.
