    The first author I ever read was Mark Twain, I read the adventures of huckleberry finn then Tom Sawyer. Those books made me want to NOT LIVE in the city. I read both those books several times.
    I also read the Hardy boys way back then.

    That is one of the big upsides of reading both John Sanders and Michael Connelly. They both have written numerous books operating within a small set of main /lead characters.
