Admitting that is only the first step. Granted, it's the most important step, but it will not solve the problem. It simply gives us a viable intellectual framework in which to craft a solution. But only by recognizing the US government's contribution to the problem can we do something on our end to solve it. Ultimately, the only sane option at this point is for the US government to aggressively pursue PEACE with North Korea. But the US government refuses to enter into meaningful peace talks with the North Korean government because they (the US government) are only interested in more "regime change" nonsense.
